Fiesta Bowl Museum
Admission is Free. Here you will find trophies relating to college football as well as exhibits about the history of the Fiesta Bowl organization, its volunteers, and the games.

Baseball Spring Training
Nine teams train in the Phoenix area (Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers) and three train in Tucson (Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, Colorado Rockies). The Oakland Athletics & San Francisco Giants train in Scottsdale.

Hiking
Whether on foot, horseback, or mountain bike the tens of thousands of acres of the Phoenix mountain and desert preserves offer everything from busy, strenuous summit climbs (e.g. nearby Camelback Mountain) to gradual ascent, site-seeing valley walks (e.g. Circumference Trail at Piestewa Peak).

Horseback Riding

White Water Rafting
Just 45 minutes from Scottsdale, you can go kayaking or rafting down the lower Salt River. This is an exciting way to experience Arizona's beautiful Sonoran desert and wildlife from river level.
